I already played through mass effect 2 five times. I didn't play mass effect 1 so some of the plot was decided for me. I don't have any intention of buying mass effect 1. Anyway, I really don't want to do another playthrough, but I only realized now that I can buy the interactive comic that let's me choose the key decisions from the first mass effect for xbox 360. So question is, is it worth getting the interactive comic? Will it give a better experience for both Mass effect 2 and Mass effect 3 when it comes out?

They developers said you don't even need to play the first two games in order to enjoy Mass Effect 3.

I would recommend playing through the first one if you truly enjoyed the story. The game itself is a little harder to get around, what with the horrible inventory menus and the dreaded Mako levels. However, I did find the 1st game to be extremely enjoyable overall. IMHO, you need to play the 1st one to see how everything falls in place for the 2nd, but since you don't wanna play it, I would get the interactive comic.
