Thread: GamersComm Ad campaign

Hey guys just wanted to make this post about an advertising campaign I did with google these past couple months.

In August I got some google Adwords(Google's advertising company) credits from our GoDaddy(people who host GamersComm). Around $70 worth of credits, so instead of just letting that go to waste I decided to start a small ad campaign on Google.

The Ad campaign ran from August 5th until today October 20th, here are some stats from that campaign:

Impressions(# of times ad was seen): 1,229,067
Clicks: 589
Cost: $70

Now I know the clicks are extremely low to the amount of times the ad was seen but I thought this campaign went pretty good considering I didn't spend a dime on it!

You should have put free food on the ad and we would have got like a billion clicks

Isn't there a way to find out, if some of the people who clicked the ad, registered?

I'm not sure, don't think so tho.

I say do another one.... thats a lot of views for the site!

I think that's still a good deal for not spending anything on it. even though there weren't that many clicks, still every click helps

impressions dont mean people have actually looked at the ad, it just means the ad was loaded on their page when they searched, and I for one don't notice every little text ad that shows up when i'm using google or any other site for that matter. And to be honest 500 clicks is nothing, codnation gets 2k+ visitors per day... 500 visits in a month for $70 is **** :/ I've got a free adwords credit too, doubt i'll be using it now.

Yeah what I meant when I said impressions was what you said. LOL Codnation wish you didn't sell it now don't ya .. I know 500 clicks is nothing but for like the worlds smallest gaming community it is something.
