Thread: Dead Island = A Big Disappointment

I was really hyped about this game when I first heard about and went out and pre-ordered so I could get my Bloodbath DLC and Ripper mod. The problem with this game is the story line is pretty short and repetitive, don't even get me started with the save glitches, corruptions and bugs in the game. I was also disappointed that Dead Island didn't have coop split screen play and I think it should have been included. I have the PS3 version and right after the game was released a patch came out trying to fix save issues and connections issues, of course the patch made everything worse. This game is a disaster! For something that's been in the making for almost 6 years the developers should give their head a shake. The bottom line is I played for almost 62 hours with two saves that ended up being corrupted(one at Level 48, the other at Level 49) and all my collected colored and legendary weapons are lost forever. The game ended up being traded in at Gamestop towards Battlefield 3, at least I got back $35...sort of?

Money...you didn't read my original post, this game DOES blow because of many reasons. And I have been on the Dead Island Forum since the game released and a lot of people have had a ton of problems on all consoles.
